Pedro Galaviz is the superintendent of the Canutillo Independent School District. Galaviz was appointed superintendent in May 2013. Galaviz's previous career experience includes working as the director of secondary education of the Round Rock Independent School District, and as a principal and elementary bilingual teacher in the Dallas Independent School District.[1]
